This is a block of MDF I glued together (I have mad skillz). It will be machine as a test for the model I'm making for the new oil pan for the smart motor. See part deux (comming soon).

Distractions

AKA I have homework to do. I am soon to start a new job in the manufacturing wing of a high end architectural hardware and design company based here in New York. Before I start there I have to finish all the small projects and client work I can. Pictured here is my lathe and newly designed espresso tampers I helped create with my old friend Kenny Nye, the founder of Ninth Street Espresso. This is a one piece stainless steel 58mm convex face tamper that weighs just over 16oz and is aimed at the professional barista.
